Beauty in Vengeance

You dared to dream that I'd give over,
Release for the words I asked to hear,
Or the fury of a blinded lover,
For verse wasted on the deafest ear.

So tell the ascendant of your walk,
To tread light along enchanted ground,
For without a whim, or conscious thought,
She'll sing my easy silent sound

I can't be where our cold hearts' lie,
If there's no price set for the pain,
Our loveliness lulls with my dry eyes,
Fall down with me. Be shamed, again.

With Love,
Astrid

Penned by my hand on the 10th of Chakros, in the year 134 MA.
