A milestone.


The part of the road that is marked,
for you to realize that you have
traveled a great distance.

Spaced with great care and consideration,
one can think of the next in succession,
and not wonder upon deception,
of where and how far they travel.

A mark of a fine smith did he count,
the distance of equal not greater ammount,
nor was the distance lesser discount,
the spot is firm on the ground.

As we pass through this milestone and reminisce,
there won't be much for me to miss,
and so I travel on. With you together.
