Hey everybody!
Well, I know I don't post on here....ever....but, I was hoping that some
of you would help me out a bit, or at least those of you that know me
well enough to. I'm hoping it's ooc enough here for me to post this. 😉
For those that don't know (and maybe those that do), I'm a huge Gerard
Butler fan. He's got a new movie coming out soon, Beowulf and Grendel
(yes, they're making a movie of that! woohoo). There was a semi-private
contest, hosted by gerardbutler.net and another big Gerry site, which I
entered. The entrants were required to make internet banners to help
promote the movie online. There are 4 categories, and I entered each
one. The prize is 2 tickets to the after party after the Beowulf and
Grendel premiere in Toronto on September 17. So, of course, I want to
go! 🙂 🙂
The deadline has passed, and the voting has begun. Voting will continue
through September 2. If you have a few minutes, would you mind stopping
by and voting for me? This is the link for the ballot:
www.gerardbutler.net/forms/beowulf_ballot.php
If you would like to see all the entries (including mine), here are the
links for those:
www.beowulfandgrendel.com/banners/animated.htm
www.beowulfandgrendel.com/banners/nonanimated.htm
The ballot will ask for your name and email, but I'm assuming you can
use a pseudonym if you like (I can totally understand not wanting to
give your real name on the internet). Just be sure to use a REAL email,
in case they do verification. Also, they will be tracking ISP numbers,
so please only vote once. Here is the info you will need for the ballot:
for Animated 300x100, you'll want to put 24
for Animated 120x300, you'll want 15
for Non-Animated 300x100, you'll want 56
for Non-Animated 120x300, you'll want 27
And that's it! If you have questions, let me know. And, if you know of
anyone else with internet access that you can persuade to vote, please
do! I need all the votes I can get. 😉 🙂
Thanks to those that vote. Even if you don't vote, go have a look at the
banners, they're marvelous!
Stay safe and be well,
Naemanee
