Hey all-


I guess this is as good of a place to put this as any. I am not sure if
you all have the chance/opportunity/means to do so, but I highly
recommend a "pilgrimage" of sourts to 'Ground Zero'. I had a chance to
do so recently, and it was an incredible experience.
In a city of millions of people, sounds are everywhere. Sirens, taxi
horns blaring, people yelling, etc. Yet the loudest sound, the one that
will stick in my head for a long time to come, was that of the silence.
For a several block radius, people moved in quiet reverance and the din
of the background noice was unnoticeable. I know that it is an
experience that I won't forget for a long time, and I invite you all to
take that chance, if you can.
