uhm, I have never claimed to be a punk, which is something i am not. I
started listening to french oi when i was 11 or so, but the punk scene
never was my cup of tea I just didn't belong there. I have been a
traditional skinhead girl for many years and that's just who I am. I
couldn't care less about the label, that is who I am and if anyone
doesn't like it well *shrug* big #*($&#$ deal.
I am not a walking stereotype, I am just me. I'm into punk, oi, reggae,
soul and ska mainly, but that's just my thing. I do not believe that
labeling yourself as something is wrong if it is what you really are.
Then again I do not pick and chose either, I have friends who are chaos
punks, ravers, raver-punks, skins, rudies etc.
I enjoy being part of this subculture, there is a great history to it,
great music and great people. I am pretty sure others here are part of
the same types of subcultures.
Oh yeah, and by the way, I'm almost 23, so I hardly qualify as a kid.
Sympathy is just friendship's whore you know and maybe we don't know who
we are anymore
