A gathering of the Nightmare's Order deep within Tecpatl's Cradle was interrupted suddenly by the appearance of Lady Sythro, one of the Cradle's more well-known inhabitants. She spoke to Emelle about needing a piece that she had been left to keep hold of, a piece that was later revealed by Omei to have been part of a contingency plan used to activate the machine she'd built within her workshop nestled inside the Cradle.
Sythro had expressed fear that the Cradle was growing unstable, something that had been witnessed previously but otherwise disregarded. She feared that with its instability would come visitors that sought to ruin the way of life those within the Cradle had come to enjoy. Their rites, their identities -- their culture.
Omei warned Sythro that She was not yet ready to fulfill Her promise to Damariel that She would see it closed, that She had expected more time to prepare and preserve the Cradle's inhabitants, but Sythro had already acted. It took only moments for her contraption to begin its eruption, sending lashes of fire throughout the Cradle in its entirety that slowly began to merge with the Nightmare's essence allocated to protect those of Hers that stood within its range.
The result was a fusion of the Prime Material and Dreamscape; an ethereal forest that is itself a strange mixture that plays homage to the attributes of both. Heralded Seer's Wood by the Nightmare Herself, She has declared it as Her domain, and vowed to protect it and those whom she would allow to call it home.
The status of those that lived within Tecpatl's Cradle is as of yet unknown.
