The Bastion of Illdon is a long forgotten fortress of legend...or so it was thought. Dran'ge and his ruffian team decided to search for it, and managed to locate the keep within the eastern Bloodwood. Much to their surprise, they were met by rabid plants - but managed to find a safe place to rest. They did some exploring, trying to find relics of old - but ran into many a mindless demon, so strong they were unable to pass.
The disturbance reached the original founder of the fortress - Eridin, once Lord of Darkness that reigned over it. He had long been cursed from being able to enter it by his Goddess, but he was powerful enough to shake the very foundations of the fortress as a warning to the explorers inside. This didn't work as he had planned, not a single ruffian swayed to leave.
Upon this, he shouted to the realm, demanding that Dran'ge and his team leave. Dran'ge responded with what one could expect, and this was not desired by several. Ishin and Xenia rushed to the fortress to aide Eridin due to Dran'ge's response, seeking out the aged Tsol'aa and demanding his surrender. Once he denied the request, they started to assault him - but, thankfully, Meltas and Xemnas swiftly rode in to Dran'ge's aide.
There was much fighting and discussion to be held by Ishin, Xenia, Meltas, Xemnas, and even Riluo - though eventually Dran'ge was sent to the Underking's halls. The fighting dispersed, exploration was had, and many found the horrors that lurked in the lower parts of the keep.
Will Eridin ever be able to enter his fortress once again? Only time will tell. For now, any may pass and slay his mindless creations. Each must decide what to do with the relics themselves - provide them to Eridin for safekeeping, or to Dran'ge to be researched.
