The Sindele Clan Cradle Dig commenced on this fine summer of 419 MA. Led by twins Eiger and Early Sindele, a pair of Lycanthropic treasure hunters, adventurers from all across the land pitched in to pry open the secrets of the ancient tower of Tecpatl's Cradle.
Armed with mundane yet perfectly functional sledgehammers and prybars, the excitable denizens of Sapience's mainland forced open the vine-choked door, entering into a massive lobby, sealed by large bronze hatches.
Though the impromptu treasure hunters showed ingenuity and keen eyes, it was the deft fingers of Elie Nine that bypassed the hatches and saw the group to the very top of the tower. What they found there was baffling - a starscape of sickly colors, and even more disturbing: the psychic spasms of a suicidal Omei, Her incorporeal form filling the chamber.
Ignoring the Goddess' demands to be left alone to die, Eiger Sindele attempted to scour the chamber for loot, a show of disrespect that cost her her very life. Killing the werewolf, Omei found herself involuntarily forced into Sindele's body, warping into a colossal lupine creature that wasted no time in slaying Early, the brother. She then fled, claiming She had yet to consider if life was indeed worth living.
The bloody howls and roars from Tecpatl's Cradle later that day confirmed Her answer. Omei, the Beast Queen now prowls the land, Her intentions unknowable.
