In the depths of the Heartwood, the sound of a tribal drumbeat echoed
throughout the forest and surrounding Hollow, attracting attention to a
band of musicians and revelers. These fey denizens of Duiran, led by
Oried, gathered at the anniversary of the Resurgance, a holiday created
to honor the deaths of many denizens and the former Goddess of Renewal.
The Resurgence took many lives, but restored the corrupted spirit-plane
of Dendara to health, in turn infusing the Great Oak with its energy and
forever changing the commune.

In celebration and honor, the group of spirited musicians played in a
festival spanning the winter and spring seasons. Dancing, music, and
drinks aplenty elevated the spirits of the council through this
otherwise solemn season. To honor the Goddess Lleis, white lotus flowers
blanketed the surface of Lake Onimah throughout the celebration. To
revere the Great Oak and its gifts, hundreds of fireflies were released
in succession to light up the eaves of the massive tree with a golden
glow.

Finally, to honor the service of the Eleusian guardforce, some of which
have stood sentinel over the council for centuries and had overseen the
evolution of the council in its many changes, the guard force was given
leave to spend the rest of their days in peace and harmony within the
nature commune. Stepping up to replace these individuals is a new
generation of denizens and creatures of the Oak, ready to defend their
beloved home and offer their services, in turn, as others had before
them. As diverse and wondrous as nature itself, Duiran's new armed force
is surely a reflection on the changing times of this ever-evolving
community.
