Classleads February 2025 – part 2
Hey folks,
I’ve started a bit of an affliction audit per report 3585, and this is the first pass of it as I trim things down a little and make some effects a little more straight forward.
There is some more to go at some point, I’m sure of it!
Having said that, I’ll keep an eye on things and see how it impacts everything overall.
Skills
============================
– Removed Hypnosis skill: Pacifism.
– Removed Hypnosis skill: Generosity.
– Trepidation / Light reworked:
* Now gives hubris, self-pity, sadness, and merciful.
– Gloom / Despair can no longer give ‘commitment_fear’.
– Falter / Anathemise now gives ‘crippled’ instead of ‘exhausted’.
– Irritation is now renamed to Vainglory, and gives the ‘hubris’ affliction.
– Halt now gives ‘immobility’ for 5 seconds instead of ‘halted’.
– Exhaust now has a boosted effect, giving 1 stack of ‘hobbled’ for 20 seconds.
– Induce (Fear) now gives ‘hopelessness’ instead of ‘worrywart’.
– Charity now gives ‘magnanimity’ instead of ‘generosity’.
– Guilt now gives ‘peace’ instead of ‘pacifism’.
– Empowered Chargeheart / Impel (ally) now gives ‘lovers_effect’ instead of ‘pacifism’.
– Pestilence ring now gives ‘claustrophobia’ instead of ‘generosity’.
Afflictions
============================
– Removed the anxiety typing pool of afflictions, along with the following anxieties:
* Baldness, commitment_fear, body_odor, worrywart.
– Removed the following afflictions from HELP CURE ORDER: Pacifism, generosity, itchy, halted.
– Sadness has a new effect: Reduces celerity by 2.
– Self-pity has a new effect: Reduces mana sip by half.
– Hubris has a new effect: Always cured first when touching tree.
– Dementia is now more subtle with its effects, only having a 25% chance to cause an alteration.
* Chance to alter what name you say in communications remains the same.
– Removed the celerity negative from dementia.
– Stupidity can now only trigger if a command has been input in the last second.
– Cleaned up some of the messages from stupidity so that it might feel more like a continuation of the last action performed.
– Increased the chance of falling over from stupidity to 15%, up from 10%.
– Dizziness fall over chance expanded to affect basic movement such as fly, burrow, swim, or dash.
– Dizziness chance to make you fall over decreased to 30%, down from 40%.
– Impatience no longer halves mana sip.
– Asthma no longer causes you to breathe heavily when moving.
– Impairment no longer disables racial abilities.
– Exhausted no longer causes a delay in movement.
– Exhausted now halves your divert chance as well.
– Exhausted can now make you breathe heavily when moving.
– Haemophilia no longer increases inflicted blood reserve loss by 10%.
– Hopelessness no longer has any effect on WRITHE.
– Loneliness is now cured with eucrasia instead of depressant.
– Deadening is now just an extra 15% added to the shock/burnout threshold, instead of setting it to a flat 40%.
– Transfix writhe time changed to 3 – 5, was 2.7 – 5.4.
