I've decided that I want to remove the doors from city barracks as so to leave freshly recruited troops somewhat vulnerable and to provide a extra (rather difficult) goal that you can perhaps attempt during war.

Additionally its better to have them open for enlistment into militia rather then having them constantly closed and locked.

Do note that troops will not move that are freshly recruited, so you cannot bait them away from the barracks anymore.

As for cities, I suggest you protect them well with an aegis and guards.
