There is now a new channel exclusive to GMCP's Comm.Channel: 'Alerts'.

This is largely going to be used for boss mechanics, allowing us to send text that you can easily output to a capture window. Since group content can often be spammy, it is easy to miss important cues which this should help alleviate with proper setup on your end.

For now, I've updated only the various colossal elds to make use of it. We're not going to go and backdate every boss fight with this, but we'll try and use it for most future content.

If you want to test this it in the meantime, you can make use of the TESTALERT command. This won't send you any GMCP unless you configure Comm.Channel on first, though.
