As mentioned in the previous post, we're doing the event point rewards a little differently this time around. Previously, the top ten people who accumulated the most points over the full celebration won credits. This time around, everybody gets a chance! Replacing the top ten is a system where you receive credits upon reaching various thresholds of accumulated points.

Please note that each scheduled event itself also has its own credit prizes for the individuals who place within that event in additional to this overall points threshold system. The details on these will be put into their EVENTS INFO listing in the next day or two.

GAINING POINTS
--------------
Placing in the top five of most of the scheduled events will reward you with points, and simply joining an event will reward you with a single point for participation. The participation point is in addition to the ranked points.

1st: 5 points
2nd: 4 points
3rd: 3 points
4th: 2 points
5th: 1 points

Participation: 1 point

e.g. if you placed 2nd, you would get 4 points for placing 2nd, and an additional 1 point from being a participant. If you didn't place, you only get the participation point.

The exception to this is the 2v2v2v2 City Champions duel. The winning pair in that will gain 6 points total, second place pair will gain 4 points, third place pair will gain 2 points and last place pair 1 point. Anybody who is online at the time of the 2v2v2v2 can CHEER <champion> to cheer for one of the champions and gain a participation point.

Additionally, there will very likely be impromptu, off-schedule events running throughout the Year 480 Celebrations that will reward additional points. Keep an eye out for those!
