The Artifact system now supports gifting once more!

When using the checkout, use the following command instead of the normal checkout command:
ARTIFACT PURCHASE CHECKOUT GIFT <target>

This will buy the artifacts in your cart and put them in your inventory. The artifacts will be flagged as belonging to the player you have bought it for. You will have 7 days to give the artifacts to them before it will start resetting to them automatically.

Buying artifacts as a gift will use UNBOUND credits and iron coins. Bound credits and bloody iron coins won't work.
