A Night Unending
Hello folks!
Within the Dyisen-Ashtan Memoryscape, you can now find an instance called A Night Unending. Within you’ll find perhaps one of the hardest PvE experiences within Aetolia; a boss rush involving all the Shadow Lieutenants and Majors from the Second War of Night.
While they have been nerfed somewhat since they were originally designed as beatsticks to deal with 30-person groups during one of our biggest events ever, I feel it’d be a little bit of a shame to leave the mechanics and code behind them out in the cold instead of letting you square up with them again, if you feel like doing so.
In order to add a level of intensity to the challenge that matches the atmosphere of the event, the following rules are in place:
– You may only take five people into the instance.
– You only have three lives each, until you are locked out of re-entering the instance.
– There are 5 Shadow Lieutenants, and 2 Shadow Majors to fight through.
– You can fight the Shadow officers in any order, except the Majors.
I have a really hard time believing anyone can just stand there and straight bash these monsters, so you will need to really levy what you know about PvE and abuse all the defensive buffs / cheese strategies that you can, if you want to reach the end.
I really mean it when I think it’s going to be hard, as I didn’t want to nerf them to point they weren’t like their original selves anymore. So, with fair warning, it’s [0;1;31mextreme endgame content[0m for diehard PvE’ers / dungeoners. It won’t be easy. (Unless you somehow prove me wrong…)
If you manage to succeed, there is a fame line and title up for grabs, and of course a speedrun is setup if you enjoy that sort of thing!
Enjoy!
