On Matters of Integrity

Rellyw,

It seems you have wormed your way into the good graces of the savages. My congratulations on wearing the coat of treason so effortlessly, and my condolences to your newfound brethren.

I must admit to being entirely shocked when I learned of your allegiance. To commit treason over your professed hatred of Minataro, and then to join not only the council where he resides but also place yourself directly under the militia he commands, is certainly the last thing I expected.

When you were removed for treason, it was with bold claims of holding to what you espoused with both hands, that you would not be swayed, that you would hold to higher expectations even if we had failed to do so, in your eyes. I could have respected this, in some small way. There is some virtue to be found in one who upholds what they believe beyond all else, even if that belief is the conclusion of a fool.

Even this small thing was beyond you. It is my dearest hope that Duiran finds some small use for a bloviating bag of hot air.

It is well known in the north; all northern sewers flow south.

Ever,

Whirran Mulariad Arcan-Tetzauh

Regent of Spinesreach

Penned by my hand on Gosday, the 25th of Haernos, in the year 8 AC.
