A Paean to Sol Eos

The grandeur of Aevoi shines down on all people:
His season of Summer is come, and one peep'll
leave spots in your eyes, thus disguising the honest
intentions the Eschaton penned - so stay modest!

Don't stare at Sol Eos: stay fixed on your labors
His star is far mightier still than your neighbors.
He's king of the skies, while His moon-bride is queenly.
The Eschaton fashioned that pair most supremely.

To challenge the Sun with one's eyes is pure hubris-
alike to the name of His Wright, you've misused Him.
The gift of His light is for all the world's children-
let fall the fell darkness! His fulgence shall spill in!

See Aevoi by angles, His ray-fingers holding
the seas shining blue, the proud greenwood unfolding.
'twixt dawn's rosy rise and the dimness of gloaming,
He paints in all hues.
Behold Life's splendor showing!

Penned by my hand on Falsday, the 16th of Omeian, in the year 8 AC.
