O ACT I O

Sharpen or Break

*

Overture:
an instrumental piece that establishes the
mood and themes, serving as prelude to the
event.

Setting: the Mhojave Desert

Chaos Wards, Monoliths of the Apocalyptia,
Screm, Sand Wyrms, THE APOSTLES.

*

It rang in the black before time was time, resonant
silence wrought as a promise of purpose unyielding
and duty without end.

It was murmured in the fathomless depths of the
yawning abyss, where the bones of the world rest
upon shoulders of ancient stone.

Its words were turned loose upon those with ears to
listen and minds to comprehend.

And it was a song.

'You shall learn to sing it' spake the voice.

*

(We call this foreshadowing)

*

Following a recitation from the Apocalyptia, the Apostles
meet the Fabricators of the Deepest City on the shifting
dunes of the Mhojave desert. Here, they dance the Dance
of Sword and Spear, in accordance to the ways of old.

Blood and bronzework steep the sands.

The sand wyrms are called upon to devour.

*

Recommendations for our Audience:

Remain clear of the Mhojave whenever possible.

Shows of solidarity in the form of May we never know peace
or Kneel or be knelt are encouraged and appreciated.

O ACT II O

Crown Jewel of the Dark

*

Aria:
a solo song for a singer in an opera,
usually accompanied by an orchestra.

Setting: the Lava tunnels beneath Bloodloch

Lava Daemons, not our stolen lava, Rocks,
a conductor from the THEATRE OF SHADOWS,
as many Bards as we can muster.

*

In deference to the Theatre of Shadows, the Bards of the
Empire meet with their presumed conductor in clandestine
fashion, entering first the lava tunnels beneath the city
and then the labryinthine network through which the Hlugna
absconded with our lava.

Utilising the tunnels as a natural amplifier, the unlikely
Chorus commences the Song of Oblivion such that it echoes
down, down, down into the dark.

This threnody for the damned cuts the threads of everyone
and everything within that hears it, inclusive of Qor
Qogol's gate guard, the Chorus itself, and quite possible
subsections of Azdun.

It is a requiem for the damned,

slaughter so sublime.

*

Recommendations for our Audience:

Riotous applause.

The extolling of Bravo or Brava as appropriate.

O ACT III O

The Sun Never Rises

*

Finale:
the last part of a piece of music, a
performance, or public event, especially
when particularly dramatic or exciting.

Setting: Qor Qogol, the Deepest City

Shil'tok, THE BLOODLOCHIAN IMPERIAL ARMY,
the Amethyst Avengers.

*

The Shil'tok are released into the tunnels.
Bloodloch marches upon the Deepest City in force.

We Conquer.

*

Recommendations for our Audience:

Gratuitous shows of violence.

Acclaim of Strength in Slaughter or The Sun never
rises on His Empire.
