The notables list is not a popularity contest, and in fact a very
specific formula was used to determine who appeared in the first
version. Having all your friends send Me messages complaining about why
you aren't on the list will have zero effect, I assure you.

That said, we plan to make many revisions in the months to come, and the
list will most definitely grow.
