The Woodcraft skill is now available. It is a trade skill like
Tailoring, but involves crafting useful items like vials, pipes, and
pots out of wood. See HELP WOODCRAFT for details.
Several new artifacts are also available. They are as follows:
Stalwart Armband: 400 credits
Reduces stun duration by 35%
Earrings: When worn, greatly increase willpower/endurance regeneration
while sleeping, but make it very difficult to awaken, even with kola.
Earring of Restful Dreams (endurance): 200 credits
Earring of Calming Slumber (willpower) : 200 credits
Moonstone amulet: 500 credits
An amulet that, when worn, reduces damage from sunlight (including
darkshade) by 1/3, and eliminates the afflictions suffered by vampires
due to sunlight exposure.
Wyrmskin packs: 100 credits
These don't decay, and they hold 100 items.
Celerity Boots: 600 credits
Gives you an extra 2 moves per second before the "Don't be so hasty"
message kicks in.
Evermorph Ring: 500 credits
For Metamorphosis users. Binds you to your morphed form, making it
impossible to rip you out of it.
Hood of Obscurity: 2000 credits
When worn, you will be undetectable by means of skills, including
farsight, mind sense, etc. Thirdeye+who will reveal you (unless you also
use a Gem of Cloaking), but require that someone search through the who
list for you. This in addition to a Gem of Cloaking makes you extremely
hard to find.
Soulstones: These reduce how much xp you lose when you die.
Black soulstone: 15% reduction. 500 credits
Grey soulstone: 25% reduction. 1000 credits
White soulstone: 35% reduction. 2000 credits
Only one will work at a time.
Finally a reminder that there are only about 4 Aetolian months left in
the Cartography contest as announced in post #19. We've received a
number of excellent entries so far, but NO artistic map entries yet and
NO continent maps of Sapience yet. So if you're sitting on a
half-completed map, finish it up and send it in! This contest won't
likely be repeated for a long, long time, if ever.
